From September 13th to 15th, 2017, the 2017 Quantum Safe Workshop was held by European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) and Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) in London, UK. The participants include representatives from enterprises, governments and research institutes in quantum security across the world.

This meeting sent special invitation to Peng Chengzhi, professor of the University of Science and Technology of China, Dr. Qi Wei, chairman of the ad hoc task group of quantum communication and information technology (ST7) of China Communications Standards Association (CCSA) and president of CAS Quantum Network, and Dr. Zhao Yong, president of QuantumCTek.

Peng Chengzhi, Qi Wei and Zhao Yong, as representatives from the academic community, the standardization field and the industrialization field of China’s quantum communication technology respectively, shared their experience with world-wide enterprise representatives and technology experts in quantum security and discussed with them the development of quantum security industry and standards establishment.
