Time:2019-02-01

American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) announced on January 31, 2019, that the “Micius” Quantum Experiments at Space Scale research team led by Professor Pan Jianwei at the University of Science and Technology of China was awarded the 2018 Newcomb Cleveland Prize, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to promoting large-scale quantum communication experimental research through the implementation of satellite-ground two-way quantum entanglement distribution over 1200 km.
