“Micius”, the first-ever quantum science satellite, lifted off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center at 01:40 Beijing time on 16th August, 2016, which made China become the first country that realized quantum communications between the satellite and ground, signifying that Chinese science and technology began to lead the world.
