Chinese Scientists Make Important Progress in the Field of Quantum Simulation

Time:2017-10-26

Recently, collaborations between Professor Pan jianwei and Professor Yuan zhensheng from USTC and Researcher Guan xiwen's team from Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics, CAS, achieved for the first time internationally the quantum critical properties of the conversion between the classical gas and quantum liquids within one-dimensional finite-temperature many-body systems. Based on the measured phase correlation, a power-law of Tomonaga-Luttinger liquid (TLL) was observed, which marked an important progress forward in the research of low dimensional quantum many-body systems. This is yet another remarkable achievement in the field of quantum simulation from Prof. Pan's team.
